EmotiveBC

Peace Energy Cooperative is now an EmotiveBC Ambassador, promoting and educating northeast BC about the electric vehicle (EV) revolution.

EmotiveBC is part of Plug-In BC, a collaboration among public and non-profit organizations with the aim of easing the transition to EVs in British Columbia.

EmotiveBC is a province-wide campaign to raise public awareness about EVs. Research shows that the FEEL and the EXPERIENCE of driving an electric vehicle are the key determinants of the decision to purchase an EV. The goal of the campaign is to inform the public about how FUN it is to drive an EV…

… and also how much money you can save on fuel! The cost spent on electricity to charge a car in BC is typically 1/8th the cost spent on gas. Think $300 per year for electricity instead of $2500 for gas!
